About the Journal
Cifra. Revista de humanidades, teoría y crítica
We are Cifra, a journal of humanities, theory, and criticism, a transdisciplinary academic publication in digital format, edited by the Faculty of Humanities, Social Sciences, and Health at the National University of Santiago del Estero. Our goal is to reposition the journal within the landscape of academic production in Argentina, so that it may once again become a relevant publication space for researchers in the fields of humanities, critical theory, literary studies, and social and artistic discourses. We accept original, unpublished articles in Spanish that present research processes or results, as well as critical essays and reviews of recently published academic books. The journal is published twice a year. One issue features a thematic dossier that structures reflections around a proposed theme. The other is a miscellaneous issue with an open theme. Both issues also include a book review section.
